Free WiFi was great, but it's even better when it actually works. The beautiful river views from the cottage were a nice touch. Private parking saved me from the horror of searching for a spot.
Oh, how I adored the handheld shower! It was like playing a game of "catch the water".

The bathroom at Martha's Cottage was amazing! It had a large bath tub where I could soak and relax after a long day of exploring. It made me feel like I was in my own private spa retreat. As someone who enjoys taking luxurious baths, this was the perfect amenity for me.
Personally, I would have liked to have had more than one bathroom at Martha's Cottage. But hey, that's just my preference and I can see why others might still enjoy the cozy setup.

Great location with easy access to attractions and amenities. Close walking distance to Ironbridge Museums and the iconic Ironbridge itself. the cottage was clean and well-prepared, with thoughtful touches like milk and teabags provided upon arrival. the beds were comfortable, and the main bedroom offered stunning views. Private parking space was a bonus.
Some aspects could be improved for a more comfortable stay. the handheld shower made showering difficult, and a shower curtain or enclosure would have been helpful.

My stay at Martha's Cottage was absolutely delightful. The location was perfect, with easy access to the town and stunning views of the gorge. The cottage itself was charming and beautifully presented, with many original features. The hosts, Pete and Emma, had thoughtfully left instructions for the appliances and hot water system, making our stay hassle-free. The bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable, and the views from the room were breathtaking. The extra touches, like the fresh milk in the fridge and teabags, were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Martha's Cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable break.
While the cottage had many positive aspects, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The sofa and chairs were not the most comfortable for lounging in the evenings, and the bath and handheld shower setup was a little tricky to use.
